Oued Eddahab Western Sahara Recuperation August 14th

August 14th Morocco got the independence from France in 1956. They got it back without fighting, only by marching.

Revolution of the King and the People August 20th

On August 20th, 1953 the French colonial authority threw King Mohammed V and the Royal Family out of Morocco because the King had refused to stop the movement toward national independence.

The French colonial authority was surprised when the whole suddenly turned against him and defended their homeland and their King.

King’s Birthday (Fete de le Jeunesse ) August 21st

The King’s (Mohammed VI) birthday.

Green March Day November 6th

Green March Day is a national holiday which celebrates the day in 1975 when 350,000 unarmed Moroccan people, including both men and women, marched into the Western Sahara to get it back from Spain and assert that this are belongs to Morocco.
