Curious about the learning experiences your child is having during their school-day? Ever wonder how you can get a window into how and why we design our math instruction? We are excited to share our passion and expertise with you through an interactive session focused on math instruction in the elementary at RAS! The session is presented by: Tania Ash, Elementary Teacher, Grade 5.

Title: Self Regulation: The Home-School Transition

The workshop will focus on better understanding the components of self-regulation in students. Elementary Counselor, Katie Buell, will discuss how self-regulating skills, techniques, and behaviors can be practiced at home to promote academic success in school.

Title: RAS Differentiated Pathways to University

This is an evening for secondary students and families to understand the pathways to university offered at RAS. Ms Julie Milligan, Vice Principal & Secondary Counselor, and Ms Fabienne Gerard, IBDP & Pathways Coordinator, will introduce the two final years of the high school experience at RAS. They will present the three pathways that RAS offers to its students and the IB Diploma Programme. During the evening, parents and students will have an opportunity to learn about the subject specific courses by meeting with the IBDP teachers who teach those courses. Come pumped up and with all of your questions to start the exciting college preparatory years journey! 

Target Audience: Secondary Students and Families (Grade 10 students and parents are highly encouraged to attend)
