Parent Academy with US Dept of State Overseas Schools Project

Date: December 7, 2021

Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

This presentation will discuss how to conduct a college search, including: how to begin, what factors to consider, resources available to help, and suggestions for the role of parents in the process. In addition, Mr. Warner will talk about the application process: how colleges consider each part of the application (transcripts, recommendations, activities, essays, etc.) so that the process is a little less mysterious and so students can present their best application. There will also be time for questions and answers

Mr. Warner has spent more than 30 years working in admissions and financial aid and has worked at Boston University (his alma mater), Vanderbilt, Stanford, Rice, and now serves as Vice Provost at Lehigh University.
