Rabat American School is a private, non-profit American Independent Educational Pre K to 12 institution, founded in 1962, offering an English language, standards-based, university-preparatory curriculum accredited by the U.S. Middle Association and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
Rabat American School was first established in accordance with a cultural agreement between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America in the mid 1950's which permitted the establishment of schools in each other's countries. In 2013, the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America concluded a bilateral agreement bringing the school into official existence as a non-profit association recognized in Morocco.
